During the May 7, 2016 election, Addison residents went to the polls to select three Council Members. After an unofficial vote tally, the following three candidates for Council Member have been elected:
These totals have not been verified by the County. They are simply preliminary counts based on the unaudited voting results. The final, certified results will not be available until later next week, and will not be formally canvassed until a Special City Council Council Meeting on May 17. The Addison Council is comprised of a Mayor and six members who are elected in at-large elections. Members are elected for two-year terms in alternating years. In Addison the Mayor and City Council may serve up to three successive terms.
