For the fourth year in a row, Addison Kaboom Town! partnered with Albertsons and Tom Thumb to raise money for Folds of Honor, whose mission is to empower military families by providing educational scholarships to children and spouses of military men and women killed or disabled while serving our great nation. On September 26, Council Members Ivan Hughes and Guillermo Quintanilla joined Community Relations Manager for Albertsons Tom Thumb Carol Roberts to present a check for $195,515.33 to Folds of Honor Regional Development Director Sarah Duncan. Air Force Master Sergeant Priscilla Menchaca and her children were on hand to express their appreciation for the support they have received for Folds of Honor. The Menchaca children received Folds of Honor Scholarships this fall following the loss of their father who also served in the Air Force.
